Rectification : in france the legal age to buy alcohol is 16 for softs ( beers, wines, liquors… ) and 18 for hards ( vodka, absynthe… ) but you can easy buy before. For drugs you have some “undergrounds” shops but difficult to find if you are a stranger. And yeah private-partys in Paris are often…hum…a little psychedelik for tourists
